French rococo style 8 day time piece clock in a heavily decorated enamelled gilded brass case circa 1900, made in Paris and retailed by Brook & Son, Edinburgh. Ornate gilt brass bezel with chamfered flat glass over a circular gilt dial with black Gothic hours and matching pierced steel hands with central enamelled floral style disk. Plain French key wound brass drum movement numbered 542 with replacement jewelled lever escapement platform.
