Swiss ex-military Ebel manual wind wristwatch c1940 in a stainless steel case with a black leather strap. Light coloured dial with aged black Arabic hours with luminous markers and blued luminous insert steel hands with a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o/c. Signed Ebel calibre 99 jewelled lever movement with case back numbered 999901.

Case diameter - 32mm, strap fitting - 17mm.

Ebel watches were founded in 1911 in Switzerland by Eugine Blum and his wife Alice (nee Levy). The name originates from the first letters of their names, Eugine Blum et Levy. Eugine dealt with the technical side and Alice the design.
