• Weight driven with pendulum, timepiece only, week duration

• Square topped hood with blind fretwork, and brass terminal, fluted pillars.

• Brass dial with matt centre and silvered chapter ring, with brass spandrels and ornate black steel hands

• Signed John Preston, Beccles.

• Key winding & date aperture at six o'clock

• All date from approximately 1760

• The brass 'A' frame movement dates from the mid eighteen hundreds
