Description

French gilt brass and 5 glass, 8 day carriage clock time piece circa 1900, maker unknown. Ornate casework with Corinthian style columns and matching carrying handle, together with open fretwork panels at top and bottom on each side. Chamfered glass panels throughout and gilt matt mask to the circular ivorine dial which has black Gothic hours and blued steel hands and a central gilt disk. Plain unmarked brass movement with contemporary cylinder escapement.
