Swiss made gilt brass 8 day carriage clock by Imhof c1960s. Four gilt brass columns with invisibly suspended clock movement with decorative gilt chapter ring and white dial with black Roman hours and black steel hands. Rear captive winding key and going and time adjust controls with the signed and decoratively engraved 15 jewel jewelled lever movement.

Founded in 1924, Arthur Imhof SA was known for the manufacturer of elegant desk and table clocks during the mid 20th Century.

In 1939, it created another successful brand, Helveco. Unfortunately Imhof ceased operations in the early 2000's.
