Ladies Swiss Dreadnought by the Record Watch Co. wristwatch in a 9ct gold case hallmarked for London c1918, on a gold plated adjustable link bracelet. Hand wind and rocking bar time change mechanism with white enamel red 12 dial, black numeric hours and blued steel hands. London Watch Case Co. case numbered 1283 with a Swiss made signed 15 jewel jewelled lever movement.

Case diameter - 27mm.

Record was founded in 1903 by a group of businessmen There was a merger in the 1910s that saw them become Record Dreadnought.
Record was acquired by Longines in the early 1960s and continued to operate as an independent brand under the umbrella of Longines. However, as Longines became part of the Swatch Group in the late ‘80s and Record was struggling, the operation was shut down in 1991.
