English full plate lever pocket watch by William Erhardt, retailed by H.Stone of Leeds in a silver case hallmarked for Birmingham c1904, signed 'WE' and numbered 534900. Key wind and time change with white enamel dial with black Roman hours and silvered hands with subsidiary seconds dial. Back plate signed 'Warranted English Lever.' and numbered 534900 with full plate lever movement with decorated cock piece and split bi-metallic jewelled balance.

Case Diameter - 56mm.

The casemaker 'WE' was William Ehrhardt who set up a company in Birmingham 1856. It seems his attention was to make watches by machinery. Ehrhardt was one of the poineers of watchmaking by machinery in England.
