French made 8 day time piece circa 1900 in a light mahogany case with decorative inlay and boxwood and ebony stringing with gilt brass side handles, feet and finial. Gilt brass bezel with domed glass over a matt brass dial with sunburst centre and black Arabic hours with blued steel hands. Round brass rear cover giving access to the spring driven movement with platform escapement and slow / fast adjuster, time adjust knob and captive winding key.
