American A.W.W & Co Waltham nickel cased open face pocket watch with key wind and time change. White enamel dial with black roman hours, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds dial. Signed Waltham jewelled lever safety pinion movement with split bi-metallic balance and numbered #4914409 with case number #679.

Case Diameter - 53mm, Depth - 21mm.

The Waltham watch company was founded by Aaron Lufkin Dennison in 1849 in Roxbury Massachusetts. In 1854 they moved to Waltham Massachusetts and the Waltham watch company was born.
