Swiss gunmetal cased petite pocket watch by Henry Capt, Geneva with applied gold monogram back. Top wind and rocking bar time change with black enamel dial and gilt Arabic hours and outer minute track with matching gilt hands and subsidiary seconds dial. Top quality signed jewelled lever movement with wolf teeth gearing and numbered #40180 with initials FB and #0388 on the case back.

Case Diameter - 32mm, Depth - 11mm.

Henry Capt was a Swiss Jewellery and watchmaker who lived in the late 18th Century. In addition to his work as a jeweller, Capt was also and inventor and patented several designs for watches and other timepieces. He was also one of the first to introduce chronographs to Geneva.
