AWW Waltham gold plated dress pocket watch c1920 with top wind and time change. Signed champagne coloured dial with black Arabic hours and blued steel hands with subsidiary seconds dial. Signed American 7 jewel jewelled lever movement numbered 24267401 with Breguet style overcoil hairspring and split bi-metallic balance. Screw down bezel and case back with the case back signed and numbered 3609937 and bearing the engraved initials 'GB'.

Case diameter - 44.5mm.

The Waltham watch company was founded by Aaron Lufkin Dennison in 1849 in Roxbury Massachusetts. In 1854 they moved to Waltham Massachusetts and the Waltham watch company was born.
